Hong Kong

I think there’s
a slump in the heartache,
something creeping
along the lines
and beneath our noses.

In this city,
the place of all places
is where we’ve all
maybe met before.
I’m still crawling along,
waiting for that
shake of a chance
to brush itself off
and slap me
across the face.
