Names

In the meantime
I’ll be in the dark,
waiting for the rain
and whatever
comes after that.
The still
of softness
as it clouds around
while the wrong song plays,
marking us all
for all we’re worth.
It’s just the
“Here and now”
where the happy
enjoy their thirsts
and the hungry
stay hungry forever.
