It was time
and all the rest
walked forward.
Their arms
to each others sides
while seeing
the loss of meaning
as their tongues
began to play
and everything went silent.
If there was more
there wouldn’t be enough,
everyone eye-balling
whatever’s in
the other hand,
like space and time
once those perfect stars
die out and fall
just to help us
with these wishes.
